The IT consultants Rackpeople Consulting is official WorkPoint partners. The consultancy agency is a Microsoft Partner and proficient in SharePoint. As such, Rackpeople can now deliver valuable and effective solutions with WorkPoint.

As a bonus, the new version is much easier to set up for first use.

"We’ve been adapting the old version of E-mail Manager for a while, but it has become clear it couldn’t deliver the quality we wanted.  As a consequence, we are starting afresh.  With the new version, we’re also introducing new features requested by our customers,” Peter Jørgensen says.

Some of the biggest improvements in the new version are:
 

• The search function is vastly improved. With the new version, it is now possible to do searches in all e-mails, making it easier to find e-mails with a specified type of contents.
• The new E-mail Manager supports multiple e-mail accounts per contact. If your contacts have both a private and a company e-mail address, this is now supported. The same applies to e-mails from a contact communicating via separate companies.
• Today, all e-mails are available to everyone. The new version of E-mail Manager introduces the option to limit which departments, or which employees, who has access to which e-mails.  It could be a development project or something similar the company doesn’t wish to share with everyone until closer to launch.

“One of the points of the service center is to make it possible to help our customers small problems right away – be it small corrections, WorkPoint help, or upgrades. Our customers have also requested service agreements on such things as upgrades and user support agreements, where the end user can contact us when a problem occurs. We have listened. We are working on various service plans,” says Peter Jørgensen, CEO.

In the future, you will there be able to buy a few hours at a time, or enter into a service agreement. If you are to do major changes, your contact is still the account manager assigned to your company.

As a Microsoft Managed Partner VestConsult has a strong relationship and collaboration with Microsoft.

Over the past 12 months we have worked intensively on developing our solution that prepares SharePoint to support business critical processes and further strengthens the cohesion with other Microsoft Products such as Outlook.

The market has shown great interest in our WorkPoint products – and now Microsoft too rewards us by nominating VestConsult as ISV Partner of the year 2011.
 

The award ceremony and final appoint of Microsoft Partner Award will be held on November 17^th.
 

Several organizations have started to use the SharePoint 2010 platform for handling business critical processes. An area where WorkPoint stands strong, as we three years ago predicted the trend of using the SharePoint platform to handle these processes.

As one of just two Danish exhibitors at the conference, we experienced a lot of positive feedback on our WorkPoint solution to handle Case and Project Management in SharePoint – especially form enterprise companies.

We also got great comments on our Outlook add-in for SharePoint – “Express” as most visitors complimented it as a brilliant tool.

Overall the conference was very informative an educational for our Product Manager and Senior Business Consultant who visited numerous sessions during the conference.

Monday morning’s key note was characterized by the waiting for the next big announcement of a new SharePoint version. We are already looking forward to the next version of SharePoint and will be present at next year’s conference.

The session is directed at all WorkPoint super users, and ensures you know all tips and tricks for our products; WorkPoint, WorkPoint Express, and file loader.

The training session will be held by Andreas Høyer Jørgensen, Business Consultant and Solution Architect, who has more than 10 years of experience within the field of document management, email management, and CRM.
